Well today we woke up to snow. In our area that's not very common for this time of year. It snowed until 10/11 this morning and of coursed melted by lunch time. But what a sight. It was beautiful and the kids were so excited. They hoped school would cancel but of course it didn't. They waited at the bus stop catching snowflakes on their tongues. What is it with snow that brings the kid out in all of us?
Thanksgiving is next week and we will be in sunny California with Daddy but the snow this morning just seemed to calm me, put a smile on my face and realize yes the Holiday season is upon us.
Even though our life has been interesting lately we are blessed. What are you Thankful for?

Ricky's crutches, yes its not the best time for an injury but we get wheelchair assistance when we fly Sunday so no long security lines and help getting to our connecting flights!
Leigh's job, even though the travels frustrating at times, he has a job and one he enjoys doing.
Frankie, Laurel, Lori , Lynda and Jennifer......No matter if they are related to me.....they are my 'girls' with Leigh gone they really went out of there way to make my birthday special and they are always there to just listen.
Our family is blessed and God continues to amaze us....I am thankful.
